Belle's Birthday

I feel like there are some other events that occurred this spring that I should catch up on before I move forward with my posts. For example, Belle's birthday was in May and she turned 3! She had a Princess Belle themed-party at my parents' cabin complete with a treasure scavenger hunt and a "carriage" (hay) ride. She seemed to really enjoy her party this year. She is into role-play playing, such as playing kitchen, cleaning, and being a mommy to her babies. She also really enjoys going outside to help her dad (he fenced in the back yard this spring and summer) and playing bubbles, play-dough, and chalk on the sidewalk. She has learned her letters and sounds and now we need to focus on the numbers. She enjoys reading books and we go to the library just about once a week. They have a cute puppet show there each week. She has taken Kindermusik classes for about 1 1/2 years now and loves it. She has met some friends there that we have playdates with. Belle is very helpful and enjoys doing things with me even if it is mopping. She is definitely Mama's little shadow and that is all right by me!
